How many times do you have a birthday or special occasion coming up and scramble to find a card. Or find yourself running to the store on the way to the party to actually GET the card? Sound familiar?

I know I am always running to the store to buy a card at the last minute.. until now.

As promised, I am getting ready to celebrate my son’s first birthday on July 5th. I couldn’t tell you how happy and excited I was when I gave birth so close to July 4th. I love Patriotic holidays and to have my son’s birthday so close to it…gives me a whirl wind of endless party themes for him every year.. not to mention I will be able to reuse most stuff for Memorial day and Labor day! How many times does the new season of spring arrive and you think of all the things you want to do outside? Projects? upkeep? New outdoor furniture perhaps? It never fails- Every spring, I make a list of all things I like to accomplish, throw it someplace I can never find, then before I know it , fall is here and we are packing up the summer stuff heading indoors for a dreary winter.
I discovered these great note pads from Gina B Designs( available on my website). And I just fell in love with them. I have used them for everything, from my Spring to do List to my shopping List. I even started giving them as gifts to my sons teachers. How much more enticing is it to look at these beautiful designs every day posted on your refrigerator rather than a dull, ripped out from the notebook run of the mill plain white paper posted with tape on your refrigerator or worse thrown in your junk drawer to be forgotten until next spring.

With mothers day approaching fast, I am sure everyone has all there gifts bought and wrapped already…
Here is a great website that I completely forgot about. Gifts.com. I used this website for Christmas gifts a few years back. What I love about this site is that it offers you to shop by interests, categories, personality and just about EVERY occasion you can think of.

Both my boys have big birthdays coming up this summer. My oldest son Jack will be turning 5 and my baby will be turning 1. As I looked to find the perfect birthday invitation to highlight the theme of the party, I began to think about my son Jacks first birthday and the first thing I thought of was his delightful invitation. I opted for a circus theme party invitation and Starfish and Dreams really takes the cake. Their invitations offer something a little special-there matching envelopes! This little touch just makes the card a little more special.
Luckily I ordered extra invitations so I can paste one of these beauties right in Jacks baby book to look at whenever I open his baby book( which is often).
